Pb About the Role /b /p p We are looking for an expert in Infrastructure Engineering with strong expertise in passive telecom sector, responsible for driving the industrialization, standardization, and continuous improvement of infrastructure engineering practices across all countries. The role will act as a technical authority and coordination point, supporting country teams in defining and deploying common engineering standards, processes, methodologies, and templates, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the Cellnex footprint. In addition, the role will provide technical support in asset management, inventory quality improvement, procurement processes, and operational analytics, enabling data‑driven decision making and best‑practice benchmarking. /pp The role will support the IRIS (Digital Twin) program by leading the development and evolution of high‑fidelity digital representations of physical telecom assets, such as towers, rooftops, and antenna systems, enabling advanced structural analysis, lifecycle performance management, and the integration of real‑time operational data into Cellnex’s digital twin platforms, while providing centralized technical services across all countries. /pp At the same time, the position acts as a transversal technical reference, combining deep expertise in passive infrastructure and structural engineering with strong project management, BIM/digital twin implementation capabilities, and cross‑country coordination, working closely with local engineering, operations, and procurement teams to ensure consistent, data‑driven, and scalable infrastructure engineering practices across the entire footprint. /p pb What You’ll Do /b /p pb1. Cross-country Passive engineering support /b /pulli Assess, harmonize and industrialize passive engineering criteria, modelling practices, and structural assessment processes across regions. /lili Define and maintain the Passive Engineering Guidelines. /lili Lead the definition of Group‑wide technical infrastructure requirements and introduced a limited set of scalable typologies adoptable across all Cellnex markets-ensuring repeatability, cross‑country compatibility and cost efficiency. /lili Expert support for Passive engineering processes guarantying the knowledge in all countries and helping in the application of these concepts to their standards. Provide engineering expertise to rollout teams if necessary. /lili Support countries in BTS engineering definition parameters and drivers for new opportunities. /li /ul pb2. Collaboration Standards /b /pulli Collaborate with country counterparts to align on uniform engineering criteria, modelling practices, and structural assessment processes across regions. /lili Ensure consistent implementation of group-wide engineering methodologies and quality standards. /li /ul pb3. Modelling Physical Infrastructure /b /pulli Develop and maintain accurate, real-world 3D standard models of telecom structures, including towers, rooftop installations, and support frames that could support all our activity. /lili Incorporate material properties, load-bearing data, and precise geometric information into all infrastructure standard models. /li /ul pb4. Materials and solutions /b /pulli Analyse new materials and solutions in passive telecom infrastructure, homologate these new solutions and support the integration of these new solutions in the countries. /li /ul pb5. Structural Health Monitoring /b /pulli Harmonize solution to sensor the passive infrastructure and integrate these sensor data (e.g., strain gauges, tilt meters, vibration sensors) into digital twins’ models to monitor real-time structural performance. /lili Support the countries in the analyse of data to detect early signs of fatigue, corrosion, or structural deformation. /lili Recommend reinforcements, upgrades, or replacements based on structural performance and risk assessment data. /li /ul pb6. Simulation Predictive Analysis /b /pulli Run simulations to understand how structures perform under stressors such as wind, seismic activity, and equipment loading. Be aware of the last simulation characteristics and new technologies adopted /lili Support predictive maintenance strategies by identifying high-risk components or failure-prone areas before issues arise. /li /ul pb7. Compliance, Regulation Safety Validation /b /pulli Ensure all structural components meet local/national building codes, telecom regulations, and internal HS and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies. /lili Provide support to structural integrity assessment when relevant modifications are introduced (e.g. installation of heavy equipment). /li /ul pb What We’re Looking For /b /p pb Education /b /pulli Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
