OKU’ is derived from the Japanese spiritual and architectural concept meaning ‘inner space’. OKU Hotels is a boutique collection of soulfully-curated, laidback luxury hotels, created for the modern traveler. Meticulously designed sanctuaries are conceived with barefoot luxury, local connections and slow living at heart.
OKU Hotels is headquartered in London, with current properties operating in Ibiza and Kos, and a confirmed pipeline of hotels set to open in Turkey, Spain and the Maldives. OKU is targeting to own and / or operate a collection of over ten exquisite properties in new and captivating destinations worldwide, over the next five years.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
* Provide personalized and exceptional concierge services to hotel guests, ensuring their needs and requests are met with the highest level of professionalism.
* Assist guests with a wide range of requests, including restaurant reservations, transportation arrangements, event tickets, and local recommendations.
* Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive recommendations to enhance their stay.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and services.
* Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
* Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
* Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and service providers.
* Manage guest communications and maintain accurate records of requests and arrangements.
* Provide exceptional customer service and ensure guest satisfaction.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Proven experience as a Hotel Concierge, preferably in a 5-star hotel environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Extensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and services.
* Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a plus.
* Strong network of local contacts and resources.
* Previous Pre-Opening experience is a plus.
