Technical Service and Support for Material Testing Machines (Incorporation March 2026)
Location (Residence): Barcelona (Facilities in Sant Cugat del Vallès)
Nights away from home expected: around 25-30% of the time
Contract type: Permanent (after 6-month probation)
About Us
ZwickRoell is a global leader in material testing solutions. Our technical team plays a key role: we install, calibrate, and repair high-precision testing systems directly at our customers\' industrial sites. We are looking for a hands-on, curious, and solution-oriented engineer to join our field service team.
Your responsibilities
After training in Spain and Germany, you will:
* Install, calibrate, and repair static and dynamic testing machines on site.
* Diagnosing and fix technical issues, both remotely and on-site.
* Help customers adapt test methods to their products and processes.
* Train users on equipment, software, and test applications.
* Maintain tools, service reports with administrative tasks, and company car in good condition.
* Perform assigned jobs according to the planned schedule.
What we’re looking for
* Desired: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
* Solid knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and basic electrical systems.
* ISO 17025 calibration experience is a plus.
* Spanish language skills at level B1 (spoken and written) and English (written and spoken). German is a plus.
* Proficient in Windows and common software tools.
* Driving license.
* Mandatory 5–6 weeks of technical training in Germany during the first year.
