Accountabilities
Lead the adaptation and execution of regional medical strategies across the EMEA region in alignment with global objectives
Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration between medical, commercial, and regulatory teams
Establish and manage strategic relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and research networks
Drive scientific exchange and support investigator‑initiated studies, identifying and escalating high‑value research opportunities
Provide regional insights on healthcare trends, reimbursement landscapes, and policy developments to support value and access strategies
Translate clinical and scientific data into actionable insights to guide product development, education, and pre‑launch activities
Represent the region at scientific conferences and ensure strong regional presence in key industry forums
Support cross‑functional initiatives through data analysis, metrics tracking, and evidence‑based decision‑making
Requirements
Doctorate degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD) with at least 9 years of experience in Medical Affairs, including leadership roles
Strong experience within biotech, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, or medical device industries
Expertise across one or more therapeutic areas such as cardiometabolic, oncology, neurodegenerative diseases, or women’s health
Proven ability to interpret healthcare trends and adapt global strategies to regional needs
Experience working within matrixed, international organizations across the EMEA region
Strong background in clinical research, scientific collaboration, and stakeholder engagement
Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to work across multiple functions
Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capabilities
Willingness and ability to travel internationally (approximately 25%)
