Solution Architect (Industrial Automation / DCS)
Location: Spain (Hybrid)
Company: Our client, a global industrial automation technology provider
Our client is a fast-growing international technology company delivering automation and digital solutions for the process industry. They support large-scale industrial plants worldwide with advanced control systems, industrial software, and smart manufacturing technologies.
Due to expansion in Europe, they are now looking for a Solution Architect to support technical solution design and customer engagement across the region.
Responsibilities
* Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* Design end-to-end control system architectures including DCS, PLC, SCADA and SIS systems
* Support pre-sales activities including technical presentations, solution proposals and demonstrations
* Work closely with sales and product teams during project bidding and customer discussions
* Prepare technical documentation such as system architecture diagrams and solution proposals
* Collaborate with internal engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and delivery success
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar
* Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation or process control
* Experience with DCS / PLC / SCADA systems
* Knowledge of Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, or OT/IT integration is a strong advantage
* Experience with companies such as Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Siemens, ABB or Schneider Electric is highly preferred
* Fluent in English and Spanish -Chinese language skills are considered a strong advantage
* Willingness to travel for customer projects when required
