In this role you will report to the Enterprise Architect.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Technology Architect, you will develop the technology landscape across IKEA and be part of setting the course with sound engineering/architecture through principles and standards that enable guidance for teams. By influencing decisions across multiple levels you make sure to set and drive towards the architecture vision.

In this role You are:

- Responsible for defining the enterprise standard data objects in the total Data Model for INGKA
- Responsible for defining the information flow within an area and across the landscape
- Resolve architecture topics in significant landscape changes affecting the sub-domain
- Provide the architecture perspective on prioritizations and roadmaps such as consequences to reach the Sub-domain strategies and outcomes
- Drive and develop to the architecture roadmap view
- Develop the Enterprise Architecture practices and guardrails used in our product teams
- Participate in RFI and acquisition activities and assessments

Together as a team

As a person you are a good collaborator, have strong leadership skills to drive architecture and work with diverse stakeholders. You will belong to a team of architects in Enterprise Architecture, partnering with business partners across the company bringing the architecture to life.

We see that you have a strategic mindset and will in the role define the future state of the architecture for an area in the

landscape cross products and:

- Influence decisions at several levels the company - from Sub-domain to Engineer and drive common purpose across diverse stakeholders
- Drive architecture work for an area of the technology landscape, set the long term strategic direction and coexisting with legacy and develop architectures for massive internet scale
- Solve deep technical problems in a landscape enabling several business models
- Deep knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, omnichannel and retailing
- Experience in agile development practices and worked with domain architecture in a product and engineering

organisation

You have working experience related to either business to business industry or food industry. Likewise a background in advanced education in information technology, computer science or equivalent. We believe you have minimum of 5 years of experience from product and engineering organizations where you have had proven a Domain Architecture responsibility.

As an architect, you pay attention to detail and actively acquire new knowledge, skills and champions new methods to improve performance in deliveries. You possess knowledge across a range of different technology stacks, ideally applied within a retail sector, and can change direction based on new ideas, approaches and strategies. Service architectures, cloud-native development, event-driven architecture and an API First approach are skills you have experience from automation in delivering software and using open source.

You have a passion for technology and innovation making you appreciate the mix of actions and strategic thinking working both independently and interdependently. You share and live the IKEA culture and values.
