The job
As a content moderator you will be responsible for reviewing and filtering the content of a popular social media platform and ensuring a safe experience for its users. This includes reviewing user flagging reports regarding content on the popular social media platform. It is a very detail oriented role, where concentration and maturity is of high importance.
Your daily work will include tasks like these:
* Review user flagging reports regarding website content
* Understand and remain up-to-date with client’s policies and guidelines
* Analyse and identify content that is not in compliance with requirements and flag for action in a timely manner
* Review the reported content within agreed turnaround times and standards of quality
* Recognise trends and patterns, and escalate issues outside of the established policies
* Use market specific knowledge and insights to spot and scope solutions to improve the support of user community
* Review sensitive content, sometimes involving graphic or otherwise disturbing subjects
Your qualifications
You speak Norwegian at a native level and you are fluent in English (B2)
Experience within content moderation, customer service, or other contact center environments is a plus, but not a must.
* Affinity with social media platforms
You have a good understanding and level of computer handling skills.Ability to deal with highly sensitive content (graphic images, among others).
Aware of current cultural, political, and social events
You are professional and thorough.
