Software Commissioning Engineer Responsibilities:
Write and configure software programs to control automated machinery, tailored to each customer's requirementsTest software quality using simulators before deploymentTravel internationally (50–60% of the time) to customer sites to carry out installation and commissioningLead on-site testing, integration, and configuration, working alongside various technical specialistsTrain customer staff and provide support ahead of system go-liveAct as a key point of contact for customers on-site, delivering clear communication and good serviceCollaborate with internal teams throughout the project to ensure successful deliveryHand over completed projects to the relevant departments once commissioning is complete
Experience & requirements for the role:Knowledge of object orientated programming (C++, C# or Java)Relational database knowledge in SQL or Oracle and LinuxAbility to work in collaboration with internal and external project teamsAbility to speak English with technical conversations as a minimum, being able to speak German is advantageousEligible to work in Austria/ EUHold a valid driver's licence
