Responsibilities
* Validate, approve and post PO and non-PO invoices; calculate VAT, tax and withholding tax.
* Check and verify supplier documentation for compliance with country legal & tax requirements.
* Pay vendors by scheduling payment runs.
* Respond to all vendor enquiries regarding finance and manage exceptions.
* Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders, including vendors, facilities and colleagues.
* Handle complex issues escalated from analyst level; escalate to coordinator level if no resolution.
* Provide support to P2P team objectives and suggest process improvements where possible.
* Perform other duties as ordered by the direct manager.
* Create and act on aging and payment-on-time accounts payable reports with focus on month ends; ensure accuracy of reports.
* Cascade invoice processing priorities to Analysts based on analysis and priorities.
* Check debit balances regularly and ensure payment is received for outstanding credits.
* Prepare periodic analyses of vendor and PIT accounts; ensure SOX compliance and proper reporting for audit purposes.
Qualifications
* Good command of Spanish and English (verbal and written).
* Fresh graduates welcome; 1–3 years of experience in a similar field is advantageous.
* College graduate or bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or accounting professional equivalent.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
* A good understanding of general accounting processes.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing high-level customer service.
* Team player with a can-do mentality; independent, reliable, adaptable and eager to learn about systems.
