**Location**
Baxter Planning is headquartered in Austin, Texas with offices in Spain and India. Though this role will mostly be remote, the position will be located out of our rapidly growing Barcelona office.

**Position Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Participate in system design consulting and platform management
- Respond to incidents and assist with root cause analysis (RCA) investigations
- Development of solutions to connect customer systems and extract and transform data
- Support and document production workflow processes
***This position is expected to work weekend days (Saturday and Sunday)** with a schedule of either 5 days x 8 hours or 4 days x 10 hours.
**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience working in a system administration, site reliability, technical support, or data integration role
- Know your way around Linux and the Unix Shell
- Familiarity with configuration management systems like Chef and Ansible
- Experience optimizing queries for SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Experience working in version control systems such as Git and/or SVN
- Experience building monitors and alerts within AWS CloudWatch or other observability solutions such as New Relic
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Detail oriented and reliable
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in English
- Experience with supply chain management
- Experience deploying and managing services within AWS
- Highly curious and always seek to understand new parts of a complex domain
- Willing to proactively step in and do the right thing while providing candid and constructive feedback
