TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY OF CARTAGENA, A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS IS ANNOUNCED FOR THE EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTING OF SCIENTIFIC-TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RESEARCH RESEARCH STAFF WITH DEGREES IN THE PROJECT AUTOMATED SYSTEM FOR SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF HIGH-VALUE CROPS IN SEMI-ARID AREAS BASED ON CONTINUOUS IMAGE MONITORING USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (CODE: C-011/26).

TITLE OF THE POSITION OFFERED: LICENSED RESEARCHER.
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Temporary, 4 months.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING, DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNICAL ENGINEERING, DEGREE IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING, DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL AND AUTOMATION ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING, DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING, DEGREE IN INDUSTRIAL DESIGN AND PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT.
In the case of degrees obtained abroad (including EU degrees), candidates must provide proof that they are in possession of the corresponding validation or credential certifying, where applicable, the homologation.
WEEKLY DEDICATION: The position will be full time, and the workweek will be 35 hours, carried out from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The employee will receive an annual gross salary of 32.737,46 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: “Optimization of Internal Energy Markets in Local Communities MASTERPIECE Project”
DURATION: The contract to be signed will be for a fixed term of four months from the date of formalization of the contract, pursuant to the provisions of Article 15 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, approving the revised text of the Workers' Statute Law, in relation to Article 23 bis of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology, and Innovation, with the aim of addressing the occasional and unpredictable increase in research activity associated with the project "Optimization of Internal Energy Markets in Local Communities MASTERPIECE Project.”
INTENDED DATE OF DEPUTY EMPLOYMENT: immediate.
Responsibilities
* Initial study of different energy profiles, analyzing consumption, generation, and behavior patterns to define roles within the system.
* Development of mechanisms and algorithms that enable energy exchanges to be organized in a balanced, transparent, and efficient manner.
* Creation of dynamic pricing models that respond to system variability and take into account criteria of fairness and accessibility.
* Simulation of full operation in virtual environments, using real and synthetic data to validate accuracy, stability, and robustness.
* Preparation of a structured technical report and communication materials to present the results to the different stakeholder groups.
PLACE OF WORK: Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering Department.
Merits to be assessed and evaluation criteria
Academic background (10%): academic record for the degrees listed in the requirements.
Specific training (10%): training in the field of the project's research activity.
Professional experience (20%): previous participation in research projects in a similar field will be viewed favorably. Research experience: contracts and projects relevant to the job profile in which the candidate has participated.
Experience in optimization, energy models, simulation, programming.
Languages (10%): certificate of level B2 or higher.
Other merits (20%): publications in optimization, energy models, simulation, programming.
