Role Overview
As the Senior Technical Artist, you will work alongside a skilled team for one of our leading games. This position requires a strong technical background and collaboration across various departments, to ensure optimal game performance and excellent visuals.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement the ‘Unity layer’ linking art and animation with the programmers’ codebase
* Construct new game features within Unity, including Unity UI, following internal technical workflow
* Write custom C# components for complex visual elements
* Optimise new and existing features
* Create animations, particle effects, and custom shaders
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Expertise in the Unity engine, especially Unity UI
* Experience with different architectural approaches to game development
* Ability to write clean, performant C# code
* Experience with Git and knowledge of its best practices
* Ability to create animations, particle effects and custom shaders
* Experience optimising games for smooth performance on various devices
