Job Description:
VHIR offers a position for a Scientific Clinical Monitor seeking a self-motivated individual with experience in clinical research and/or clinical trial data monitoring.
Education and qualifications
* Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science
* Desired: Fluency in Spanish and English
Experience and knowledge
* Over 4 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical trial data monitoring
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly organized, able to work under deadlines
* Experience working with human study participants
* Knowledge of auditing, good clinical practice, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data protection)
Main responsibilities and duties
* Supporting CRFs and variables dictionaries development
* Coordinating and executing clinical monitoring activities (data entry, query resolution, data curation)
* Training and supporting research personnel at collaborating sites
* Reviewing data for accuracy and completeness
* Monitoring project status reports and identifying protocol issues
* Handling regulatory issues and interfacing with investigators and staff
* Reporting work progress and site issues to managers
* Traveling to sites as needed
Labour conditions
* Full-Time (40 hours/week)
* Salary: €24,000 - €26,000 (based on collective agreement)
* Immediate start, contract linked to project activities
