We have a strong national presence in applying cutting-edge AI technologies across multiple sectors. We are members of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance (BRTA) and GraphicsVision.ai, an international network specialized in Computer Graphics.We are looking for a Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence Engineer with a research background and strong engineering skills, motivated to solve complex challenges in security video analytics by training cutting-edge AI architectures.Responsibilities :Design and develop novel computer vision and/or deep learning algorithms in areas such as object detection and tracking, image classification, segmentation, image retrieval, visual indexing, scene description, face recognition, body tracking, key point estimation, person re-identification, action recognition, temporal abnormal localization, text detection and recognition, image/video captioning, etc.Participate in cutting-edge research in computer vision applicable to product development related to multimedia content analysis and real-time video analysis in a security context.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams.Contribute to the improvement and expansion of our assets (software libraries and platforms) by creating next-generation capabilities.Support and complement our MLOps lifecycle.Participate in scientific publications (international conferences and journals).Candidates must have:Master's degree or PhD, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Enthusiasm and technical curiosity about ML and AI technologies.Experience training and evaluating the most recent deep neural network (DNN) architectures.Experience in dataset generation, curation, and annotation for multimedia files, and AI-driven algorithms for manipulated or synthetic files (deepfakes).Strong programming skills in Python and C++.Proficiency with frameworks such as: OpenCV, Scikit-image, Pillow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.Solid knowledge of the dev stack, including Git, Markdown, CI/CD, Docker, etc.Commitment to best practices in code design, quality, and security.Proactive attitude and self-management skills.We offer:Integration into a dynamic, innovative, and world-class center in AI and Visual Computing with offices in Donostia-San Sebastián and Bilbao.Attractive national and international R&D projects with cutting-edge technology.Creative freedom in research, aligned with the Center's management procedures.Personal development through training and educational opportunities.Career progression and professional growth possibilities.Work-life balance policies.Equal employment opportunities.If this sounds like you, send us your CV!Apply Are you interested in this offer?
