An international FMCG company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of cosmetic and pharmaceutical products is seeking a General Distribution Requirement Planner to join its team in Barcelona for a 6-month temporary assignment.
- Develop and maintain finished goods replenishment and inventory plans by considering inventory availability, target stock levels, demand requirements, and supply constraints. Monitor inventory performance, define appropriate safety stock levels, identify gaps versus inventory objectives, and oversee replenishment activities across multiple markets.
- Analyze demand signals, inventory positions, distribution networks, and lead times to create optimized distribution plans that balance service levels with inventory efficiency.
- Support weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE;) meetings by providing related business risks and supporting actions needed to deliver on business needs.
- Drive the continuous improvement and optimization of distribution and replenishment planning processes to ensure product availability and planning accuracy.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across supply chain, operations, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial functions to align planning activities with overall business priorities.
- Monitor inventory and service performance indicators, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational performance.
- Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure products are delivered efficiently, on time, and at the appropriate cost.
- Leverage planning systems, analytical tools, and data-driven methodologies to improve decision-making and optimize planning processes.
