Responsibilities
 * Analyze user needs, design and develop scalable software solutions, implement automated testing, and participate in code reviews. Engineers are expected to work independently on assigned modules and proactively communicate progress and blockers.
 * Design, test and develop the software to meet those needs.
 * Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs.
 * Develop separate elements of a software that work well in the program as a whole.
 * Ensure continued functionality of a program during maintenance and testing of software.
 * Document each aspect of a system or application as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance.
 * Revisit the development process to fix bugs or address client or consumer concerns.
Qualifications
 * Proficient in Java and JavaScript, with experience in Angular or ReactJS, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, and Git. Exposure to automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Jest) is desirable.
 * Experience in Java based build management tools is desirable, considering Maven or Gradle.
 * Some experience in automated unit testing is also desirable.
 * Some experience with source code control system such as GIT in any supporting platform as github or bitbucket.
 * Well organized, good communication skills and desire to learn.
 * Strong attention to detail and comfort working to commit with deadlines.
 * Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables is highly valued.
 * A degree (or soon to get) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar programs.
