We are seeking a dynamic and experienced BusinessDevelopment Manager to lead and grow our Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) business in Damascus, Syria. The idóneo candidate will have astrong understanding of the local market, proven experience in B2B salesand distribution, and a comprehensive grasp of CRM systems and PPEproducts. This role is key to driving revenue growth, building strategicpartnerships, and expanding market share in a complex and competitiveenvironment.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Development:
- Identify,evaluate, and develop new business opportunities within the PPE sectoracross Syria.
- Understandthe local industry trends and competitive landscape to position thecompany as a trusted PPE provider.
- Buildstrong relationships with contractors, industrial clients, NGOs, andgovernmental institutions.
- Developand execute effective sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
- Manageand grow existing accounts while acquiring new clients.
- Leadcontract negotiations and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Product Expertise:
- Maintaindeep knowledge of PPE product lines.
- Workclosely with technical teams to ensure the right product solutions aredelivered to clients.
- CRM :
- Utilizeand manage leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.
- Maintainaccurate and updated records of all sales activities and clientcommunications.
- Provideregular sales forecasting and performance reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinatewith supply chain, operations, and marketing to ensure productavailability and brand visibility.
- Participatein exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to promote the company’sofferings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in BusinessAdministration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2Bsales or business development, preferably in PPE, industrial supplies, or safety equipment.
- Deep knowledge of the Syrian market.
- Strong understanding of CRM andsales pipeline management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in Arabic and proficient inEnglish (spoken and written).
- Must be proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-changing business environment.
