PLC Programmer – Logistics Automation. Overview: We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join a multinational leader in warehouse automation, located in Barcelona. What We're Looking For:
Proven experience programming PLC systems from scratch (Siemens TIA Portal). Availability to travel 80% of the time for on-site commissioning and start-ups. Motivation to work in a technical environment with high-level automation projects. English level B2–C1.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and implement PLC programs from scratch using Siemens TIA Portal. Design and develop HMI screens and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control. Lead equipment setup, calibration, and commissioning at client sites. Provide on-site support during installation and system start-up. Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure optimal system performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, production) to optimize system functionality. Maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs and system changes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Support and train production and maintenance teams when required.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience as a PLC Programmer. Strong proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal. Demonstrated ability to develop programs from scratch. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
