Application RFID Engineer

What will be your role?
The Application RFID Engineer supports the development, testing, and deployment of RFID-based sensor solutions. This role is mainly focused on smart textiles, especially embedded RFID sensors in garments, while also supporting food-sector applications related to traceability, monitoring, and product validation. The position requires close collaboration with technical teams to ensure robust, reliable, and application-ready solutions.
What will your responsibilities be?
·Test and validate RFID tags, sensors, and systems in lab and field environments.
·Develop and support RFID applications for smart textiles and embedded garment solutions.
·Participate in projects for the food sector, especially traceability, monitoring, and product validation use cases.
·Analyze RF performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize reader/tag configurations.
·Support prototype integration, pilot builds, and application testing in real-use conditions.
·Operate RFID lab equipment and prepare test procedures, reports, and application guidelines.
What profile do we need?
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
Minimun 5 years of hands-on experience with RFID systems, RF testing, or sensor applications.
Strong understanding of RFID, RF propagation, and antenna behavior.
Experience with smart textiles, wearable technologies, or embedded RFID sensors in garments.
English proficiency required.
Valuable exposure to food-sector applications, especially traceability and monitoring.
Familiarity with antenna design tools, flexible electronics, or field deployments.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
