Mission
- Drive and expand Grifols’ strategic alliance in China by leading corporate development initiatives, joint governance activities, and collaboration with key Chinese partners.
- Shape and accelerate Grifols’ business and innovation strategy in China—across all Business Units—by identifying growth opportunities, innovation partners, and competitive insights beyond Albumin.
- Strengthen Grifols’ institutional presence through proactive engagement with partners, industry forums, and top‑level stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment between China and Headquarters.
Responsibilities
Corporate Development & Strategic Alliance Management
- Main (internal and external) POC for the development of the Strategic Alliance beyond albumin commercial distribution.
- Lead, coordinate and execute the Business & Corporate Strategy in China, including Strategic Alliances with China partners.
- Member of several joint Steering Committees & Working Groups within the Strategic Alliance in China (Quality, Plasma, R&D;, Industrial).
- Engage and represent the company in Institutional Forums (i.e. PPTA China group) and represent Grifols China in selected forums, including Institutional meetings from China Government Officials or the Strategic Partners, as required.
Business Strategy & Development
- Co‑lead, define and develop the Business Strategy expansion in China for Grifols (all Business Units) and external assets together with key internal stakeholders and strategic partners when applicable.
- Scouting of Chinese companies for potential business development activities and innovation partnerships.
- Accelerate 1) Albumin and 2) other Blood Products (or beyond plasma) Innovation projects in China with local partners (and institutional organizations).
Broad Competitive Intelligence (beyond albumin)
- Lead key Competitive Intelligence activities in China with the objective to expand market and R&D; knowledge, business development activities, to identify strategic partners and to make strategic recommendations.
- Monitor China competitive environment and policy & regulations landscape.
Stakeholders Engagement
- Interact and align with China team and Headquarter stakeholders; Business Partners; Legal Advisors; Strategic Partners at Top Management level.
- Lead a team based in China.
Qualifications

- Life Sciences background. Master’s degree or PhD is a plus.
- +10 years’ experience in healthcare companies in scientific, marketing or business development roles; with exposure to international environment.
- Scientific, Marketing and Business Development experience is highly valuable.
- Valuable start‑up and/or consulting profiles.
- Position based in Grifols Headquarter in Spain, may require regular travel to China.
- Experienced, motivated to learn and develop within a dynamic, open and multicultural team.
- Versatile and flexible team player. Quick professional with excellent organization, time‑management and multitasking abilities. Aim for excellence.
- Proactive, well‑organized and responsible with strong critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.
- Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

- Flexible schedule: Monday‑Thursday 7‑10 to 16‑19h and Friday 8‑15h (with the same flexible start time).
