Job Title : Wholesale Manager – Luxury Sector

Location : Barcelona, Spain

Languages : Fluent English and Spanish required; Catalan is a plus

Employment Type : Full-time

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized French luxury multinational, is looking for a strategic and commercially driven Wholesale Manager to oversee and grow the wholesale business across the Iberian market. Based in Barcelona, this role is key to expanding brand presence through high-end retail partners, department stores, and specialty boutiques.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the wholesale strategy for Spain and Portugal in line with global brand objectives.

Manage and nurture relationships with existing wholesale accounts to ensure long-term growth.

Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with the brand’s positioning.

Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, margins, and delivery schedules.

Forecast sales, monitor KPIs, and analyze performance (sell-in / sell-out) to optimize assortments and stock rotations.

Ensure seasonal product training and visual merchandising guidelines are implemented across wholesale partners.

Collaborate with internal departments (retail, marketing, operations, supply chain) for seamless execution and brand consistency.

Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategic planning.

Be open and available to travel up to 30% of the time across Spain and Portugal.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years’ experience in wholesale sales, ideally within the luxury or premium fashion / accessories sector.

Solid understanding of the Iberian wholesale market and key players.

Fluent in English and Spanish ; Catalan is a plus.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.

Commercially savvy, with strong planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Proficient in CRM and sales reporting tools.

Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 30% of the time ) across the region.
