Define the global strategy of the Life Science business through the development and execution of commercial plans that ensure business development as well as the achievement of sales and profitability objectives established in the annual budget, with the support of a commercial team, reporting directly and/or functionally assigned.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Aligned with the company's objectives, propose, develop, and achieve commercial objectives, expense control, and financial goals of the annual budget for the Life Science market, ensuring the continuous creation of value for Caldic Ibérica.
2. Promote the development of the Health and Food markets in accordance with the company's global strategy, considering industry potential and trends, both nationally and across group subsidiaries.
3. Supervise the responsibilities of the direct commercial team assigned in Iberia to ensure strategy implementation, management model adherence, commercial process compliance, NOF tracking, and KPIs alignment with Caldic Ibérica strategy.
4. Collaborate in establishing pricing and margin policies by market and industry, in partnership with the Director of Marketing & Business Development and General Management, ensuring compliance by the commercial teams.
5. Assist in improving financial and operational parameters, focusing on customer credit, working capital needs, inventory levels, payment terms, and risk management.
6. Lead, develop, and manage change within the commercial team, motivating adoption of new methodologies, market trends, and business approaches.
7. Implement and promote commercial plans, understanding market potential, and managing key relationships and communication.
8. Ensure effective use of internal processes and tools by the commercial team for information management and reporting.
9. Interpret customer requirements and manage their expectations through effective communication and resource mobilization in line with company strategy.
10. Stimulate and develop market demand for products/applications in the company's portfolio to promote growth and profitability.
11. Develop networking, professional links, and alliances to enhance the company's brand.

Qualifications
* Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or similar
* MBA ESADE / IESE
* Master's / Postgraduate in commercial and marketing
* Advanced English
* Advanced Microsoft Office skills
* Experience with CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
* Over 5 years as Commercial Director, Marketing/Business Development Director in chemical sector distribution or manufacturing, with experience in specialties
