Activity Description and Concrete Tasks
You will be responsible for the operational part of the gLB (HA‑Proxy). This includes the following tasks:
* Dev Ops for gLB – PSA procedure [SDSK, IT checklist, BC/DR tests]
* Budget planning – Documentation
* Life cycle measures: planning and design, software and firmware update, security management, data backup and deletion
* ITIL processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Config Management
System management:
* Provision of performance metrics
* Monitoring + enabling first‑line support
* Proactive monitoring of NE
* Vulnerability management
* Interface with third‑party vendors in the context of problems/incidents
* BIS / BOOS process – Bring Into Service, Bring Out Of Service
* Automation solutions
* On‑call / stand‑by duty (every 5‑7 weeks)
* Occasional night shifts to introduce network changes
