Senior Project Manager – Chemical & Coating Plant for Lithium-Ion Battery Electrolyte Department: Engineering / Project Management
Reports to: Process Engineering Director
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development of a new chemical manufacturing facility dedicated to the production of electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries.
The project includes both chemical process units and a thin coating line for metallic strips, so experience in metal thin coating process will be a plus. The successful candidate will oversee the full project lifecycle, from design and engineering to construction and commissioning.
Lead the end-to-end execution of the project, including conceptual design, detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning.
Manage internal engineering teams and coordinate with external partners including architectural firms, EPC contractors, and construction companies.
Oversee the design and implementation of both chemical processing units and the metal strip coating area.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout the project.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and progress reports.
Support operational readiness, including SOP development, staff training, and handover to operations.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing large-scale industrial projects, preferably in chemical or battery-related manufacturing.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
