If you are seeking an opportunity to propel your career and challenge your creativity, we want to meet you! brThe European C SP Solution center is a centralised organisation dedicated to Data Center business across all countries/zones across Europe. brOur team has extensive experience in executing Data Center projects through innovative ways to deliver gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability, all in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands. brOur passionate members offer forward-thinking technical and commercial solutions that can provide advantages for our customers. For instance, we help them defining and selecting suitable technologies and equipment, to optimise the balance between initial capital expenditure and overall life cycle costs of electrical and automation systems. brOur team is involved in all phases of the customer project life cycle: Specifications review, Design optimization, Qualification test definition and management, Manufacturing follow-up, testing and commissioning, Project Execution and Transfer of the next phases to Zones Solution centers brYour role : brReporting to the Head of Technical Leaders (Fernando) and part of a team of senior electrical engineers, you will serve as the design authority and primary technical reference for up to three strategic accounts within the EU C SP Solution Center. You will ensure technical excellence and standardization of Schneider Electric's electrical and cooling solutions from early prescription and tender phases through project execution, in full alignment with technical governance, quality, safety, and cybersecurity principles. brYou will translate customer technical drivers into optimized, compliant architectures, engage proactively with customer central teams ahead of RFQs, and support tenders with validated design concepts, assumptions, and clarifications. You will lead the definition of customer-approved solutions, promote standardization and reuse across regions, and produce complete design packages to enable consistent deployment and knowledge transfer. You will also capture lessons learned to improve design efficiency and act as the technical referent for Zone and Country Technical Leaders, ensuring correct application of standardized solutions in all tenders and projects. brYour missions : br· Customer Interface Technical Prescription : Lead technical exchanges, workshops, and clarifications with customers, building trust through clear explanations of complex concepts and trade-offs. Demonstrate strong customer-facing, communication, and influencing skills to reinforce technical credibility. br· Tender Support Upstream Alignment : Contribute to tender and pre-tender phases by defining and validating technical architectures, design assumptions, and compliance matrices. Ensure consistency between tender commitments and executable project designs. br· Technical Design Authority : Lead, review, and approve basic and detailed designs for electrical and cooling solutions in line with customer requirements and SE standards. Guarantee coherence, robustness, and compliance across all design deliverables and regions. br· Technical Team Coordination : Coordinate project technical teams and align design activities with planning and milestones. Identify needs for specific expertise and involve SMEs when brnecessary. Monitor technical scope, engineering workload, and key technical cost drivers. br· Stakeholder Supplier Coordination : Collaborate closely with PMs, GTLs, Execution TLs, engineers, factories, and suppliers. Lead and coordinate technical aspects of subcontracted scope and act as the single technical interface for all stakeholders. br· Design Scope Lifecycle Coverage : Perform and review design work from pre-design and tender through L5 commissioning, optimizing use of SE's portfolio, including: bro MV/LV systems, transformers, UPS, busways bro E-house integration and site installation bro Cooling systems and controls bro BMS and monitoring systems brSupport FAT, SAT, and prototype validations when required. br· Risk, Quality Continuous Improvement : Identify technical risks, deviations, and change impacts versus contract or baseline design. Support PMs and Execution TLs in assessing changes and variation orders. Ensure compliance with SE processes (CPP, TDP), quality, safety, and cybersecurity requirements. Capture lessons learned and promote standardization and continuous improvement brThe role is based in Grenoble (France), other european locations can be considered (Spain, UK, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal, Netherlands, Germany). You may be required to travel 20% of the time. brYour profile : br· Master's degree in engineering br· 5 years of leading technical scope of customer projects, or parts of large international customer projects br· Technical experience in MV, LV, UPSs, Tx, Busbar, EPMS, Cooling Equipment and BMS (Ideally all fields). br· Technical experience in Data Center environment is a plus. brYour skills : br· Ability to lead with agility in a complex matrix environment. br· Ability to communicate (written, verbal) clearly in a concise and synthetic manner on complex technical strategy. br· Ability to convince stakeholders on the proper project technical strategy br· Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently. br· Ability to read and understand applicable standards br· Fluent in English brWe know skills and competencies show up in many ways and can be based on your life experience.
