Overview About the role
As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for building the whole department, and executing a compelling and convincing marketing strategy, to improve the market knowledge and position our company as the number one aggregation platform. You will also be responsible for analyzing market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maximise ROI.
This position requires an innovative, results-driven leader with exceptional strategic thinking and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading successful marketing initiatives, managing budgets, and fostering collaborative cross-departmental relationships in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities Create and develop Alea’s brand awareness in the market and position the company as market leader developing comprehensive go-to-market strategy and marketing plans.

Be a key role in defining Alea’s brand strategy and ensuring its application internally and externally

Assist in generating the appropriate content for social media campaigns as well as for press/media pitching.

Collaborate with Art Director, sales, product, engineering, and leadership, to drive new business, and be confident in owning a pipeline number.

Design cross-functional and cross-channel campaigns

Ownership of the full customer journey through all marketing touchpoints.

On and Off orientation: take full responsibility for all our online and offline campaigns in order to increase Alea’s recognition in the market, consolidate the brand and increase our client base by defining budget and expected results for all channels.

Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategy and marketing plans.

Define Marketing and department KPIs, monitor results and take full ownership of reporting of the department for COO and Board.

Be responsible for content generation strategy, targeting our clients and our values, designing the most effective plan (videos, website content, blog posts, conference presentations, infographics and brochures) to ensure that the content is tailored to the specific audiences and platforms that we aim to target.

Conversion focus: You will be responsible for driving massive growth in website traffic, lead acquisition and revenue.

Lead and oversee product launches, releases of global marketing activities, social media presence, key customer events and conferences execution.

Create and maintain a library for our commercial team with sales tools such as case studies, sales elevator pitches, product overviews, brochures, conferences and workshop presentations.

Optimize each marketing touchpoint using data, including top-of-funnel channels like social media and blogging, middle-of-funnel channels like email nurturing, and bottom-of-funnel activities with sales teammates

Plan and host online / offline events to deepen relationships with customers and attract local prospects.

Empower decision making through in-depth business cases outlining expected impact, required investment and execution roadmap.

Collaborate with sales to always improve lead quality & with the Board to guide the acquisition and engagement strategy

Develop the tools and processes needed to monitor the work being done by the Marketing and Communications team and report Marketing performance KPIs.

Managing the marketing function as a whole (demand generation, PR, branding, web optimization, design, etc.)

Coordinate marketing activities with other key stakeholders, partners, and clients.

Create and maintain a library for our commercial team with sales tools such as case studies, sales elevator pitches, product overviews, brochures, conferences and workshop presentations.

Requirements:
Experience: 5 + years experience working within the Igaming industry or other relevant and related areas.

Hands-on mindset and being able to get things done in a structured and detail-oriented way.

Strong experience and abilities in digital marketing + offline strategy.

Education Bachelor in Marketing, International Marketing or related field (required) + Master or Postgraduate in Business is a plus.

Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills - there is a heavy amount of writing and presenting/selling ideas in this role

Excellent people management skills – Ability to engage all stakeholders, from the field to the C-suite.

Advanced level of Hubspot & marketing automation + web related tools

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Language Proficiency:

Proficiency in English, Spanish is a plus.
