We are now looking for a Compliance Legal Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance Europe team. The incumbent will be responsible for :
* Assessing financial, operative, and legal risks, creating plans to handle potential issues, and advising on prevention, detection, and reaction strategies.
* Providing regular reports on the effectiveness of compliance measures with a global scope, covering both European and African divisions.
* Updating and maintaining the compliance risk map.
* Developing, implementing, and managing the organization’s compliance program and the Ethics and Compliance Committee’s agenda.
* Managing whistleblowing channels for compliance issues and supporting investigations related to possible non-compliance with the Code of Conduct, in collaboration with Internal Control Department.
* Leading compliance projects and managing or participating in offices on Competition Law and Data Protection.
* Implementing and overseeing compliance with policies, guidelines, procedures, and internal standards across Europe and Africa divisions.
* Designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to raise awareness and foster a culture of compliance.
* Liaising with your direct report, the Head Office Compliance Manager.
* Reviewing data processing agreements, drafting data protection clauses, and conducting balancing tests and assessing data retention periods.

Requirements
Requirements :
* Degree in Law, with specific qualification or certification in Compliance.
* Fluent in English is mandatory; fluency in French is highly valuable.
* 3 to 5 years of experience in Compliance, preferably in FMCG / Food industry. Background in commercial and corporate law is essential. Capabilities in Data Protection / Privacy are highly valuable.
