The DIS Product Developer Expert will consult with key partners to identify needs and develop improved data accuracy tools, including reports, dashboards, and delivery mechanisms. The DM Specialist Expert will translate these needs into analytics requirements, build, and test data accuracy products to help maintain data quality for Experian's data furnishers.
Main Responsibilities
* Analyze, design, develop, code, and implement programs in Python and other programming languages for specific software systems, including PC or web development tools.
* Identify and resolve application, database, and programming issues.
* Support integrated applications with understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
* Translate business needs into clear data analytics reports.
* Manage key strategic client projects, ensuring timely delivery.
* Retrieve data from various sources, organize it visually and structurally, and deliver products on schedule.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
* 6+ years of experience in data analysis and software development.
* Proficiency in Python and SQL (including DB2 and MySQL).
* Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehouses, or analytical tools (Tableau, Alteryx).
* Experience with AWS services (e.g., Athena, Glue, SageMaker).
* Knowledge of C#, Java, or similar programming languages.
* Ability to create comprehensive dashboards/reports from diverse data sources.
* Strong critical thinking skills relating business problems to data quality issues.
