Olleco Bunge is seeking a SHEQ Manager to join our team in Andalucia or Basque country. Employment will be through Olleco Bunge's local legal entities.
Job Purpose
Support the delivery of a comprehensive Health, Safety, Environmental and ISCC service across the business, ensuring full compliance with all applicable legislation and standards.
Establish, implement and maintain effective systems and processes that drive company performance in Health & Safety, environmental compliance, ISCC requirements, and continuous improvement.
Contribute to the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO 9001 quality standards.
Position in Organisation
The position is expected to support local management and the wider SHEQ team in the development of SHEQ Standards.
Reports to the SHEQ Director & Business Improvement Director and is a team player, dedicated to supporting the success of the rest of the SHEQ Team.
Principle Accountabilities
Ensure that all interactions are undertaken in a professional and courteous manner.
Key Tasks
Support the development and execution of the Spain SHEQ strategy and chair the monthly SHEQ Board to drive performance and accountability.
Produce and analyse monthly SHEQ reports, identifying trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
Implement, maintain and continuously improve SHEQ management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, ISCC requirements, legal obligations and group policies.
Plan and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and readiness for third‐party certification and inspections.
Lead accident and near‐miss investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive actions.
Promote safe working practices, challenge unsafe behaviours and ensure hazards and incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
Deliver SHEQ training across all levels, support Group initiatives and drive continuous improvement in safety culture and awareness.
Liaise with regulators, external auditors and internal stakeholders, and support effective SHEQ communication across the organisation.
Lead and support safety improvement programmes and ensure effective operation of site SHE committees.

Qualifications
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
Proven background in giving practical H&S advice, ideally within the waste and logistics industries.
At least 5 years' experience, preferably at a senior level.
Environmental systems knowledge.
Full valid driving licence.
Good computer skills particularly MS Word and Excel.
Trained and competent risk assessor.
Knowledge of all relevant legislative requirements (PRL Law, ISO standards, etc.).
Experience of behavioural safety training and implementation.
