Your mission
As Head of FP&A;, you will shape the financial direction of our
international organization by leading regional FP&A; teams across Western
and Central Europe. You will turn complex financial data into clear insights
that drive strategic decisions, strengthen performance, and support sustainable
growth across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire international
FP&A; teams, setting clear standards for
performance, collaboration, and analytical excellence across regions.
- Own regional financial planning
and consolidation, ensuring accurate, timely,
and compliant reporting under IFRS and local GAAP frameworks.
- Drive the budgeting and rolling
forecast cycles, providing forward‑looking
insights and clear narratives on performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted business
partner to senior leadership, translating
financial results into actionable recommendations that influence strategic
and operational decisions.
- Strengthen financial governance
and internal controls, serving as a robust
second line of control after accounting close and supporting audit and
regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and challenge business
performance, with a sharp focus on
profitability, working capital, cash flow, commodities exposure, and cost
structures.
- Champion process improvement
and systems optimization, enhancing reporting,
automation, and analytics through tools such as OneStream, JDE, SAP, Power
BI, and Tableau.
- Support cross‑regional and
cross‑functional projects, contributing
financial expertise to initiatives beyond finance and across geographies.
Master recherché
Skills and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance,
Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in
FP&A;, Controlling, or Risk Analysis, ideally within an international
or commodity‑driven environment.
- Proven leadership experience, with
the ability to influence senior stakeholders and guide teams through
complexity and change.
- Strong expertise in financial
consolidation, forecasting, and performance management.
- Advanced Excel skills and solid
experience with OneStream and JDE; familiarity with SAP and data
visualization tools is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English; additional
languages such as French, Dutch, or Spanish are a plus.

BOORTMALT is a general malting company with a 3 million tonnes production capacity. The group is present on 5 continents with 27 malting plants. Boortmalt's expertise is widely acknowledged by brewers, distillers, and food industries, who rely on the supply of top-quality barley malts.
The Boortmalt Group is a fully owned subsidiary of the agricultural and agribusiness cooperative Axereal. Our relationship with Axereal, Europe's largest grain cooperative, ensures us access to high-quality barley year-round.
