What Success Looks Like In This Role
Key Responsibilities
* Provides presales solution architecture services for larger, more complex clients.
* Analyzes detailed client business processes, software, applications, information technology outsourcing, and infrastructure requirements, assisting with RFP, RFI, and associated processes.
* Leads or supports architectural and/or solution reviews.
* Architects solutions using appropriate portfolio offerings with design elements that allow integration into the client environment, refining and optimizing models as necessary.
* Applies client understanding to propose and sell new products and services.
* Leads client-facing technical interactions, gathering data, feedback, and input on solution requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
* Collaborates cross-functionally, including with product development and engineering, to address client needs and enhance product features.
* Evaluates proposed solutions and costs to determine the most effective delivery methods and innovative approaches.
* Leads innovation workshops and breakthrough initiatives with key clients.
Key Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or technology, or equivalent.
* Strong English language skills; German skills are highly beneficial.
* 8 to 10 years’ experience in End User Managed Services/Digital Workplace Services (e.g., End User Service Desk, Field Services, Supply Chain, End User Device Management, Productivity, and Collaboration), with pre-sales solution architect experience preferred.
* Good understanding of the competitive landscape, products, and/or services.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience in pre-sales solution design for end-user services, proposal development, design review & trade-off decisions, winning theme development, and presentation skills.
* Experience in developing cost/benefit analyses and assessing risks associated with solutions.
