Overview
As the Payments Strategy Manager you’ll help shape the payments strategy by providing data-informed recommendations, identifying new opportunities, and supporting leadership decision-making for Outpayce. You’ll work across teams to align strategic priorities with business goals and contribute to the growth of our payments business.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate the development of the payments business strategy, informed by market dynamics, customer needs, and regulatory trends.
* Evaluate new business and partnership opportunities, including options for development, acquisition, or collaboration. Conduct due diligence and build well-supported business cases.
* Collaborate with product, finance, operations, risk, compliance, and technology teams to align on priorities and turn recommendations into actionable plans.
* Prepare clear and structured materials for senior leadership and the Board of Directors to support strategic discussions and decisions.
* Contribute to ad-hoc strategic initiatives and projects, presenting insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree required; advanced education (e.g., MBA) is helpful.
* 10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or strategic marketing in global organizations.
* Experience working in matrixed, multicultural environments.
* Deep understanding of the payments landscape, including trends, regulations, and competitive dynamics.
* Familiarity with the travel industry and factors influencing its evolution.
