The Legal, Compliance & Data Protection Specialist is responsible for ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations, with a strong focus on data protection, regulatory compliance, and contracts review and ESG matters.

The role supports business operations by providing legal guidance, mitigating risks, and ensuring that contractual and compliance obligations are met.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including data protection, privacy, and corporate compliance requirements.
Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Data Protection framework, including GDPR & ESG related activities.
Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders on compliance, regulatory, and contractual matters.
Carry out communication, training, awareness, and advisory activities for employees.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure legal and compliance alignment.
Support internal and external audits related to compliance, data protection, and contractual obligations.
Identify legal and compliance risks, propose corrective or preventive actions, and monitor the implementation of improvement recommendations.
Manage communication with external legal advisors and regulatory authorities when required.
Maintain up-to-date legal documentation, internal policies, and procedures, including tracking new applicable regulations within the scope of Compliance and advising on their proper implementation.

Degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification.

Previous experience in legal, compliance, data protection, or contract management, preferably in an industrial or corporate environment.

Solid knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g. Experience with ESG, contract review and negotiation with service providers.

Understanding of corporate compliance frameworks and internal controls.

Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
