At VASS, we are looking for a Financial Automation and BI Analyst to join our Analytics and Governance team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for streamlining processes, automating workflows, and developing impactful dashboards. This role requires strong expertise in Excel automation, advanced Power BI capabilities, and proven experience within financial environments. As we operate internationally, advanced English proficiency is essential .
What will you do?
Process Automation:
Develop and implement automation solutions for manual and repetitive financial processes using advanced Excel techniques and Power BI .
Identify inefficiencies within the Finance team and propose scalable automation workflows.
Dashboard Creation & Analytics:
Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards to visualize key financial metrics and deliver actionable insights.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of dashboard data through robust validation processes.
Data Management:
Extract, transform, and load data from various systems into analytical models for reporting and analysis.
Maintain and manage the financial data repository to ensure consistency, quality, and accessibility.
Collaboration & Training:
Act as a liaison between the Finance department and IT/Data teams to ensure alignment on tools, processes, and data models.
Train team members on effectively using automated tools and dashboards.
What do we value?
Technical Skills:
Advanced Excel proficiency, including macros and automation tools.
Expert-level experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report customization.
Familiarity with SQL or other data analysis tools (a plus).
Experience with financial software or ERP systems (SAP is mandatory).
Financial Expertise:
Solid understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Industry Knowledge
Previous experience in the pharmaceutical sector or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical mindset, able to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
Strong communication skills for presenting data and training stakeholders.
Proactive and self-driven approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
