Position Overview
The Financial Planning & Reporting (FP&A;) Analyst will play a key role in the P&L; and Operating Capital planning process for the Iberian Business Unit including Business Plan and Forecast Estimates. A deep understanding of Carrier’s business and legal structure is essential for accurate forecasting and month-end closing processes. This role will provide value-added analysis of sales margins, risks and opportunities to support planning and ensure senior management has the most accurate insights for decision-making. The analyst will also be accountable for timely and precise reporting internally and to the Europe-Int Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of Business Plan and Forecast processes for P&L; and Operating Capital including month-end closing analysis and validation of actuals for both P&L; and Balance Sheet.
- Deliver value-added analysis to support the planning process and provide senior management with actionable insights for decision-making.
- Co-own all Iberia reporting requirements including variance analysis and causal explanations.
- Manage communication with the International Office and supply points (local/EU) regarding all matters affecting P&L;/BS forecasting and reporting processes.
- Prepare Forecast Estimates providing senior management with a clear view of profitability trends across the year, return on investment analysis, and target achievement.
- Establish routine communication with key stakeholders to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities throughout the year.

Desired Skills & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Business Administration
Bachelor’s or MBA (plus)
Experience: 5–7 years in Finance with prior experience as a Financial Analyst (preferably in Controlling, FP&A; or Project Management). Audit and tax experience is valuable. Leadership experience is a plus.

Technical: Financial modeling and advanced Excel skills, experience with SAP or ERP environments, advanced PowerPoint skills.
