If you've spent your career designing hardware that genuinely cannot fail, this one's worth a look.
We're working with a specialist in high-performance, mission-critical avionics and defense computing - the kind of equipment that goes into platforms where "good enough" isn't in the vocabulary. They're looking for a Principal Hardware Engineer to step into a technical leadership role: not just designing boards, but setting the direction for how complex hardware gets built, qualified, and certified.
The Role

Lead design and development of hardware systems in line with company process and regulatory standards
Own analog functions and electrical interfaces supporting qualification activity
Drive schematic capture and PCB layout across digital and analog designs
Lead design reviews, technical studies, and documentation governance
Support system integration, qualification, and certification
Define specifications and manage external partners/subcontractors
What You'll Bring
Master's degree in Electronic Engineering
Significant experience in hardware design and system-level engineering
Deep expertise in analog design and simulation, xsgfvud power electronics, high-speed signal design, and processor architecture
Strong grounding in DO-254 and regulated development environments, plus electrical testing and airborne equipment qualification
A track record of leading technical decisions and mentoring engineers around you
