Your role Allocated to our Packaging Technologies organization we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive team member in the position of Global Market Segment Director, responsible for Tapes & Label end market segment This is a permanent and full-time position. Key responsibilities: Leads and continuously refines the global segment strategy, setting growth ambitions, priorities, and target areas (markets, applications, customers), while defining how to compete globally and guiding multi-year roadmaps aligned with market trends, sustainability, and portfolio evolution. Acts as the global expert on the segment, analyzing market dynamics, customer structures, and key trends (regulatory, sustainability, technology), consolidating regional insights into a unified global view, and proactively identifying opportunities and structural shifts to drive strategic actions. Partners with global marketing leadership to define and govern the segment’s value proposition and positioning, ensuring clear competitive differentiation, consistent global messaging with regional flexibility, and strong narratives for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with product management and innovation teams to shape technology roadmaps, guide portfolio lifecycle decisions, and translate segment needs into clear requirements for product development. Defines global go-to-market frameworks, including channels and sales approaches, supports product launches, equips regions with tools and playbooks, and serves as an escalation point for complex global customer or segment issues. Defines and monitors global segment KPIs, leads performance reviews with regional and business leaders, identifies gaps and drives corrective actions, while supporting strategic planning, budgeting, and portfolio management. Influences senior stakeholders across key functions, represents the segment in strategic and executive forums, and acts as the single voice of the segment, ensuring its needs are effectively communicated and addressed. Provides regional marketing support for Packaging Technologies, coordinating with the Global Marketing Director and acting as a local lead for events and marketing initiatives across markets. Profile: • 8+ years of experience in the Tapes & Labels market, specialty chemicals or packaging industries serving this segment. • Experience in a Private Equity (PE) environment is a strong advantage • Fluency in English (mandatory) Skills and Competencies: • Proven experience in global segment management or strategic/commercial roles. • Strong leadership in matrixed global environments. • Ability to analyze markets and translate insights into growth opportunities. • Strategic mindset with focus on actionable solutions and execution. • Strong commercial and financial acumen. • Experience in value-based selling, portfolio strategy, and innovation governance. • Excellent communication and stakeholder influence at executive level. • Willingness to travel up to 35% internationally.
