The Maitre d'Hôtel at El Silencio Ibiza oversees designated sections of the venue, exemplifying exceptional hospitality and engaging directly with guests. The role ensures smooth restaurant operations, delivers professional and timely service, and creates memorable dining experiences.
Key Responsabilities
* Supervise the reception area, ensuring professionalism and efficient team coordination.
* Manage recruitment, and staff development.
* Welcome guests warmly, assist with seating, and provide attentive service.
* Demonstrate in-depth menu knowledge and guide guests with recommendations.
* Facilitate tasks and directives from upper management.
* Ensure effective communication between all departments.
* Keep the duty manager informed about guest table status and service updates.
* Plan seating arrangements according to reservations and operational briefings.
* Identify opportunities to enhance guest experience and propose improvements.
* Address guest complaints or concerns promptly, reporting to management when necessary.
* Fulfill supervisory, administrative, or service duties as needed.
* Manage equipment, minimize operational costs, and adhere to operational guidelines.
* Maintain order in the reception area and manage lost and found items.
* Prioritize personalized service, especially for regular and high-profile guests.
* Monitor grooming standards and maintain accurate records of training and performance.
