At Moeve Trading, we are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Shipping Operator. If you have a passion for maritime operations and a keen eye for detail, this role might be perfect for you.
The responsibilities we´ll trust you with
* Manage and oversee the execution of vessel charters in Time Charter and Spot for the supply of Moeve, facilitating sales of Moeve Offtake products, and for Proprietary Trading, ensuring adherence to charter policy conditions.
* Ensure accurate application of charter terms and conditions (Time Charter, Shellvoy, Asbatankvoy, etc.) and terms of product sales contracts affecting cargo transportation and documentation, considering vessel types, cargo specifics, and different charter conditions based on loading/unloading ports and suppliers/customers.
* Understand and apply applicable national and international regulations governing operations.
* Nominate ship agents at various ports, as required by the charter policy.
* Analyze relevant information for each charter with brokers, shipowners, cargo inspectors to ensure proper implementation of contractual agreements.
* Establish effective communication channels (ship ETAs to all involved parties, discharge instructions, cargo specifics for each contract, information to relevant shipowner/captain regarding Bills of Lading).
* Dispatch travel instructions to shipowners/captains ensuring compliance with charter policy conditions.
* Monitor fleet compliance with speed, consumption, and idle time conditions, analyze results, and perform necessary calculations for settlement with fleet shipowners.
What are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent experience. Preferably, a degree in Nautical Studies or Naval Engineering.
* Experience in port agencies, Merchant Marine officer, maritime brokers, or similar maritime environment experience.
* Knowledge and experience in charter contract management and maritime technical knowledge (vessels, ports, etc.).
* Technical knowledge of procedures.
* Advanced English.
