Global Process Owner – Record to Report (R2R)
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Global Process Owner for the Record to Report (R2R) function to lead the development and governance of global finance processes across a complex, international organisation. This role will be responsible for defining best-practice R2R processes, driving consistency across regions, and supporting the ongoing evolution of enterprise finance systems.
Working closely with finance leadership, operational teams, and technology stakeholders, you will help shape and maintain standardised ERP templates across multiple platforms, ensuring they support scalable, efficient, and compliant financial operations globally.
This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the centre of finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement programmes across the organisation.
Location
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of global Record to Report processes.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of global ERP templates across multiple finance platforms, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational standards.
* Promote standardisation of finance processes across regions while managing necessary local variations driven by regulatory or operational needs.
* Own and maintain the global chart of accounts and support the adoption of consistent accounting structures and policies.
* Support the delivery of finance transformation initiatives and system implementations related to the R2R process.
* Define and track key process performance indicators to monitor effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
* Produce and maintain clear documentation including process maps, operating procedures, and training materials.
* Support the development and capability building of finance teams involved in the R2R process.
* Work closely with system architects and solution owners to ensure finance processes are effectively supported by technology platforms.
Skills & Experience
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Several years of experience within finance roles, with increasing levels of responsibility.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial close processes.
* Demonstrated expertise within the Record to Report process domain.
* Experience working on cross-functional or international transformation projects.
* Familiarity with ERP finance systems and an understanding of standard system capabilities.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and technology teams.
* Ability to operate successfully within a complex, global organisational structure.
* A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
