About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead business growth across the Spanish market in the packaging sector. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with strong expertise in rigid packaging solutions, capable of identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with leading FMCG, food, beverage, personal care, and healthcare companies.
Key Responsibilities
- New Business Development: Drive sales growth by identifying, prospecting, and winning new clients across Iberia.
- Market Expansion: Develop and execute a strategic plan to expand presence in key market segments.
- Customer Engagement: Build long‑term relationships with decision‑makers (procurement, packaging development, sustainability teams, operations).
- Sales Cycle Ownership: Lead the full sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical, design, and operations teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to feed into strategic business planning.
Qualifications & Experience (M/F/D)
- Proven track record (6+ years) in sales and business development within injection‑molded packaging or closely related rigid packaging solutions.
- Strong hunter profile with demonstrated ability to open new accounts and deliver revenue growth.
- Deep knowledge of Spanish packaging markets and existing network with FMCG and/or industrial customers.
- Solid commercial acumen, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Fluent in English. This is a must‑have.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to win new business.
- Strategic thinker who can also execute hands‑on.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while aligning with a general team.
