As an IT Business Partner – Finance, you will act as the key link between Finance and IT, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support and enhance financial processes. In this role, you will play a critical part in the evolution of our SAP landscape, driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and high standards of financial data quality. This role can be based in any of our offices located in Spain, Italy or Portugal. Key responsabilities: Finance & SAP Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications. Act as the functional owner of SAP modules (FI, CO, TR, AP, AR). Maintain and optimize core financial processes (Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Controlling). Lead SAP configuration, enhancements, and change requests in collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Oversee integrations with surrounding systems (CRM, payroll, banking, and reporting tools). Support financial reporting and data analysis activities. Business & IT Alignment Serve as the primary point of contact between Finance and IT. Advise finance stakeholders on system capabilities, constraints, and opportunities for improvement. Application & Vendor Management Manage SAP vendors and external partners effectively. Monitor service levels (SLAs), incidents, and delivery quality. Coordinate system upgrades, testing, and releases. Business Analysis & Documentation Produce high-quality functional documentation (requirements, fit-gap analysis, process flows, test cases). Support UAT processes and user training initiatives. Maintain knowledge bases and documentation for recurring issues and best practices. Project Management Lead or support SAP and Finance-related projects. Define project scope, milestones, risks, and deliverables. Track progress using tools such as Azure DevOps. Core capabilities: Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in SAP or IT roles within Finance. Proven experience working closely with Finance teams (Controlling, Accounting, Treasury). Technical Skills Strong hands-on SAP expertise (configuration and functional support), particularly in financial modules. Solid understanding of financial processes and accounting principles. Experience with system integrations and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, or similar). Familiarity with ticketing and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps). SAP S/4HANA experience is a strong advantage. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments. Fluent English is required.
