We are looking for aTechnical Business Analystto support our Data Platform program, driving requirements gathering, data analysis, and solution design.
The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects to ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and analytics capabilities.
You would be working with one of our major international clients, a British financial company.
??Location:100% remote for people based in Spain
??Mandatory skills:
6–10 years of experience as aBusiness Analyst, preferably in data-driven projects.
Data analysis& interpretation of large datasets (clients, portfolios, transactions)
Strong stakeholder engagement & facilitation of workshops
Wealth Management domain knowledge(Investment, portfolio mgmt, client onboarding, compliance)
Writing BRDs,user stories, process flows, data dictionaries
Power BI / Tableau for visualization
SQLand data querying
Understanding of data governance, lineage, quality
Agile delivery participation (Scrum, sprints)
End-to-end lifecycle ownership (from requirement to delivery)
Communication & presentation to senior stakeholders
English C1
??Key Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data platform initiatives.
Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
Work closely with data engineers, architects, and developers to design scalable data solutions.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement elicitation sessions with stakeholders.
Support data migration, data governance, and data quality initiatives.
Define use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Contribute to backlog grooming, sprint planning, and testing activities in Agile environments.
Ensure alignment of delivered solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements
??Desired Requirements:
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Understanding of BI & analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
Exposure to AI/ML data initiatives.
??Work schedule
8-17 Monday/Friday
