Project Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our Scientific Innovation Office (SIO), the R&D organization of Grifols Biopharma.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various development projects.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of driving projects to successful completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate cross-functional team through Business Case evaluations for project investment decisions, following the D&T stage-gated process.
* Ensure clear recommendations and efficient process, partnering with all functions.
* Develop and maintain the Project Scope, Development Plan, and Target Product Profile with input from key stakeholders.
* Set-up a cross-functional team, ensuring team members' roles and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Project Execution
* Coordinate cross-functional teams from project initiation to closure, ensuring R&D project alignment with company goals, business, and regulatory requirements.
* Responsible for planning, tracking, reporting, and adjusting project schedules at both workstream detail level and rolled-up levels.
* Monitor project progress, identify risks, and ensure the implementation of mitigation strategies.
* Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
Cross-functional Leadership and Teamwork
* Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and alignment between senior management decisions and project plans.
* Actively partner across the organization to build strong relationships and ensure engagement at all levels prior to key decisions.
* Foster a collaborative, performing, and innovative project environment.
* Elevate excellence of project execution and project/portfolio management by leading or participating in improvement initiatives.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Administration).
* Requires between 3 to 5 years of R&D Project Management experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
* Strong understanding of Pharmaceutical R&D processes, product development cycles, and innovation management.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with exposure to Senior Executive Leadership.
* Strong Interpersonal skills to influence, build consensus, and moderate conflict.
* Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
* Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Well-developed planning skills, with knowledge of PM software.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Proficiency in Spanish and English language.
* Certification in project management is a plus.
