Overview:
We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join a multinational leader in warehouse automation, located in Barcelona.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience programming PLC systems from scratch (Siemens TIA Portal).
* Availability to travel 80% of the time for on-site commissioning and start-ups.
* Motivation to work in a technical environment with high-level automation projects.
* English level B2–C1.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and implement PLC programs from scratch using Siemens TIA Portal.
* Design and develop HMI screens and SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
* Lead equipment setup, calibration, and commissioning at client sites.
* Provide on-site support during installation and system start-up.
* Troubleshoot and resolve PLC-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, production) to optimize system functionality.
* Maintain detailed documentation of PLC programs and system changes.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Support and train production and maintenance teams when required.
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum 4 years of experience as a PLC Programmer.
* Strong proficiency with Siemens TIA Portal.
* Demonstrated ability to develop programs from scratch.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
