CONTEXT
Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) is part of Pfizer that brings approved medicines to the patients. Within PGS, the Performance Management - Site Metrics and Analytics team is responsible to ensure that performance measurements end up providing value and that Operating Units drive maximum performance improvement through analysis of measurements and data. The team achieves this by, firstly, being responsible for metric design and development, and support of PGS site performance metrics. Secondly, by performing analysis on the data and metrics with the aim of providing new insights to improve the performance.
Finally, with data as the foundation, we also act as owners and help govern several of the data and reporting platforms. Where not, we act as key stakeholders in the management and build of them.
ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced person passionate about data analysis applied to improving industrial operations to work with us as Network Intelligence - Performance, Automation and Insights, Manager to join our Pfizer Global Supply team.
Our team partners with Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) to find insights in the data to drive PGS’s operations to the next level of efficiency in areas like supply chain coordination, manufacturing, quality, etc.
You will work in collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders (SMEs, digital colleagues, plant and supply chain personnel), use data from the different systems that support PGS operations (ERP, LIMS, transportation, etc.), and leverage your analytics and business knowledge and experience to get this done.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify areas of opportunity and explore the potential using data
- Create working pieces of code that can be integrated in automated tools to deliver the insights directly to the users
- Collaborate in improvement initiatives that rely on data analysis, working with process owners, operations and other stakeholders when solving problems using engineering and data science approaches

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management Engineering, Data Science or Logistics
- Around 3-5 years cumulative experience, especially with hands-on experience in
- Supply chain/manufacturing performance improvement
- Data analysis focused on performance and insights generation
- Coding experience (ability to perform analysis on datasets using SQL, and/or Python/R; develop prototype models)
- A passion for data science and its impact/presence in the industrial world
- Ability to communicate, convince, build relationships, and collaborate with a variety of colleagues
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications
- Extensive knowledge or experience working with (up to production level software development):
- SQL and no-SQL databases
- Programming languages, such as Python or R
- Data-Science platforms
- Deep experience in supply chain/manufacturing knowledge and problem solving
- Advanced analytics and statistical knowledge/experience
- Certification in project management
