Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team focuses on product development and strategy for Oracle Health, supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a new business line with an entrepreneurial spirit, aiming to create a world-class engineering center focused on excellence. Our mission is to improve healthcare and quality of life globally by providing better experiences and easier access to health and research data for patients and healthcare providers.
We seek hands-on engineers passionate about solving complex problems across distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience. This greenfield opportunity involves designing and building new cloud-centric applications from scratch. As we grow rapidly, engineers at any level can significantly impact our technical and business outcomes. You will join a diverse, motivated team with autonomy and support to excel in a dynamic, flexible environment.
We offer unique opportunities for innovative engineers to tackle challenging problems in distributed, highly available services and virtualized infrastructure. Our engineers design and develop systems that power critical applications for our customers.
If you're an expert developer eager to make a substantial technical impact, we want you. We are looking for a Principal Engineer with experience in distributed systems to join our Identity organization. This role offers large scope and responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
You should have a proven track record of building highly available, scalable, and redundant services, understanding operational simplicity, and balancing speed with iterative improvements. Your work will help us handle increased traffic, ensure resilience against regional outages, and expand customer options, contributing to transforming healthcare and improving patient care.
Qualifications:
* 3+ years of distributed service engineering experience
* Experience building and operating high-traffic web services
* Development skills in Java, C++, C#, .NET, or scripting languages
* Deep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development in cloud environments
* Experience collaborating with cloud teams on compute, networking, search, storage
* UI experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers
* Experience with FedRAMP, PCI DSS, or similar compliance
* Expertise in PaaS engineering and security risk modeling
The biggest challenges include scalability, performance, and availability, and your role will involve designing major features, operating high-scale services, and fostering operational excellence.
