In this role you drive the performance and integration of hybrid powertrains for our client projects in Valladolid. You will lead a team of experts to meet development targets while balancing driveability, efficiency, emissions and NVH. You ensure cost-reduction efforts do not compromise powertrain performance and report progress to Quality and project teams. The position sits within AVL’s mobility technology mission, offering hands-on impact on next-generation powertrains in a global context. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape robust, efficient propulsion solutions.

• Evaluate and form final assessments for hybrid powertrains on driveability, performance, efficiency, emissions and OBD
• Lead a team of experts to hit internal development targets on new engines and vehicles
• Ensure serial-life cost reductions do not degrade powertrain performance
• Report to the Quality team and project stakeholders during development
Responsabilidades
• Engineering degree or similar (Master is a plus)
• 3-5 years of experience in powertrain calibration or related topics
• xpzdshu Knowledge of powertrain performance metrics (Efficiency, Emissions, Drivability, NVH)
• Project management experience (timing, quality, deliverables, reporting)
• Good English; French is a plus
• Strong sense of responsibility, goal-orientation and teamwork
• Extra-curricular activities like Formula Student are a plus
• Driving license
