Country Project Business Sales Manager (m/f/d)
You will report to the Managing Director Sales based in La Roca for a permanent contract.
You are responsible for leading and developing Hager's project business in the Spanish market, driving sustainable growth, strengthening market share, and ensuring profitable performance while preparing the organization for long-term success.
Responsibilities
Lead the national Project Business strategy, defining objectives, KPIs, and commercial plans
Manage and develop the Project Sales team, fostering high performance and customer focus
Drive specification and prescription activities using Hager digital tools (BIM models, configurators, network calculations)
Build and grow strategic sales channels, including Panel Builders, OEMs, and System Integrators
Develop and maintain strong, long‐term relationships with design bureaus, consultants, and engineering influencers
Identify and secure large‐scale construction and infrastructure projects through direct engagement with investors, developers, EPCs (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), MEPs (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and major electrical installers
Lead Key Account Management for sector‐ or client‐specific strategic accounts and ensure Hager's value proposition is represented throughout project lifecycles
Gather market intelligence, assess project pipelines, and translate insights into localized go‐to‐market strategies
Enable technical support for project business, ensuring high responsiveness and engineering excellence for quotes, load calculations, and tender documentation
Profile
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
8–10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or channel management in electrical, automation, or building technology sectors
Proven track record in project‐based selling and stakeholder management across the value chain
Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and technical product portfolios
Customer‐focused mindset with ownership and service orientation
Strategic thinker with experience building and leading cross‐functional teams
Excellent communication and influencing skills, including executive‐level engagement
