As the Sr. Manager of Financial Control, you will be responsible for all financial processes, reporting, and control duties of the Global IT Services and Project/Program support.
Role Overview
This position involves exposure to a wide variety of business challenges, requiring a certain level of understanding and experience with IT services and large project organizations. It is a high-profile role where you will act as a business partner to the unit director and executive managers. The role also entails maintaining excellent working relationships with central functions and external stakeholders, providing guidance and leadership to the controlling team. Success in this role requires high energy, a proactive attitude, strong ethics, empathy, and a results-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all financial matters related to the planning and control cycle, including budget, forecast, and long-term planning.
* Ensure clear, accurate, and timely reporting to unit management, Central Group Functions, and external stakeholders.
* Oversee month-end closing processes, ensuring accurate recording of expenditures, assets, liabilities, accruals, and prepayments.
* Lead transfer pricing and cost allocation processes, ensuring accurate outputs.
* Provide guidance on technical controlling and accounting issues.
* Manage operational risks and maintain internal controls, including ongoing reviews.
* Lead the controlling team, providing coaching and managing knowledge to ensure adequate skill levels.
* Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Lead multiple improvement initiatives and automation projects.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have:
* A Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
* Experience in financial reporting, IFRS, process analysis, and financial figures.
* Strong people management skills, including coaching and developing learning paths.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
* A results-driven, positive personality focused on continuous improvement.
* Attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
* Extensive knowledge of data tools; familiarity with Oracle Financials and Power Query is advantageous.
